Lexpat’s Experts Support Interagency Civ-Mil Capacity in Nigeria

Lexpat’s Experts Support Interagency Civ-Mil Capacity in Nigeria

  • On December 22, 2020
  • Africa, Battlefield Evidence, Capacity building, Human Rights, National Security

On November 2, the Wayamo Foundation hosted a workshop for Nigerian prosecutors and military officers. Participants focused on ways in which better interagency collaboration could strengthen the rule of law and improve justice sector outcomes.

Lexpat’s Adam Pearlman and Mike Mullaney provided their expertise in battlefield evidence as a key example of of how properly collecting and handling materials in terrorism cases helps to achieve those goals. Lexpat is proud to support Wayamo’s work in building military, security, and justice sector capacity in Nigeria. Further engagements are planned for 2021.
